Atami is a Dutch plant nutrition company. Its catalogue runs from base nutrients through stimulators, boosters and additives, alongside substrates and grow systems, sold under the B'cuzz, ATA, ATA NRG, Bastics, VGN and Wilma brands.
Fertilizer is the variable most often left undocumented in a cultivation trial. A grow that cannot state exactly what its plants were fed cannot attribute a difference in outcome to anything else.
Atami supplies the plant nutrition for Martian Grow's research grow-outs.
The programme's method is a comparison: seeds returned from orbit are grown alongside ground controls, and the difference between them is the result. That comparison only holds if both sides are fed the same documented schedule. Atami's role is to make the nutrition side of the trial a known quantity rather than an untracked variable.
