// About

Huckleberry Hill Farms is a second-generation family cannabis farm in Southern Humboldt County, California, nestled between the communities of Briceland and Whitethorn in the Emerald Triangle. The farm has been growing cannabis on the same land for decades, honoring the legacy of the original cultivator by preserving and breeding heritage cultivars from 45 years ago.

The farm is dedicated to protecting and propagating heritage genetics. Most cultivars are named after family members or community members. Their Whitethorn Rose strain won two Emerald Cup awards in collaboration with Heritage Hash Co.

The flowers are cultivated with regenerative practices, and the family believes in the power of sungrown cannabis. The farm has been featured in the Boveda Legacy documentary and on The Cannabis Trail heritage map.

Multi-generational heritage Humboldt cultivars with decades of sungrown selection and regenerative practice.

Huckleberry Hill Farms contributes heritage Californian cultivar lines to the Martian Grow genetics panel. In a panel that spans from heritage Dutch to contemporary craft to agricultural-scale F1 hybrids, Huckleberry Hill represents the deep-heritage Emerald Triangle lineage: cultivars grown on the same hillside, selected under the same sun, for decades.

That provenance matters for the science. Heritage lines carry decades of natural selection pressure from a specific microclimate, making them genetically distinct from indoor-selected contemporary cultivars. When Martian Grow measures how cosmic radiation affects these lines versus modern crosses, the heritage baseline provides a reference point that is both genetically stable and historically documented.
