GeneticsSerious Seeds
Dutch seed bank founded by Simon van Wieringen. Breeder of AK-47, Chronic and Kali Mist, and of Seriotica, the genetics behind Martian Grow LOT 007.
// The collaboration
Heritage Dutch seed-bank genetics from the breeder of AK-47, Chronic and Kali Mist.
Serious Seeds is Martian Grow's first genetics partner.
Its seed flew on MG-J26-T Pathfinder, the suborbital test launched from Esrange, Sweden on 31 May 2026: 260 km apogee, eight minutes of microgravity, recovered the same day. Pathfinder was flown to qualify the capsule and the recovery rather than to produce a genetic result, so carrying real seed on it meant the payload side of the programme was exercised on the same flight that proved the hardware.
